OUR PROGRAM
Welcome to Emerald View Pomskies!
We are dedicated to producing healthy and happy puppies with excellent temperaments and stunning looks. Pomskies, also increasingly known by their new breed name Artic Spitz, are a cross between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian, resulting in a unique and adorable hybrid. We share the collective goal of the Actic Spitz community of achieving AKC recognition, and to this end we will be incorporating American Eskimo and/or other spitz lines pending approval to the genetics of our program over time. We carefully select our breeding pairs to ensure that our puppies have the best possible traits from the parent breeds, including intelligence, loyalty, and playfulness.
All of our puppies are raised in our home with love and attention from day one. We believe that early socialization is key to producing well-rounded and confident puppies, so we make sure that each puppy has plenty of exposure to different people, animals, and environments.
We also prioritize the health of our dogs. Before breeding, we test our dogs for genetic disorders to ensure that we are not passing on any hereditary health issues. All of our puppies receive regular veterinary checkups and vaccinations to ensure that they are healthy and ready to go to their new homes.
We take pride in the quality of our puppies and are dedicated to finding loving forever homes for each. We provide ongoing support and advice to all of our new puppy owners and are always available to answer any questions or concerns.

CULTURE
At Emerald View Pomskies we prioritize ethical and responsible breeding, so we invite you to learn more about the priorities that guide our breeding program.
From before conception we are concerned with every aspect of quality -- from how we select our parents of every litter, to the long-term goals we set to ensure each litter builds toward a greater future for the breed.
HEALTH TESTS
All of our parent dogs are subject to extensive health testing through veterinary checkups, Embark DNA panels, and certified through the OFA.
TEMPERMENTS
.We are currently identifying a local 3rd party to provide independent temperament testing for our upcoming puppies!
VACCINATIONS
Our puppies will follow a veterinarian recommended vaccination schedule and come to you up-to-date with age appropriate immunizations.
QUALITY PARENTS
The Arctic Spitz standard is actively evolving, so following health and temperament, parents are selected based on conformation to standard
IN-HOME RAISING
All of our puppies are raised in our home, among our family and other pets. They are ideal companion animals who will make excellent, well-adjusted family pets.

We are a proud member of the reputable Arctic Spitz breed clubs and ethical breeder communities: APKC, IPA, POA, and GoodDog.com
COMPETITION
We aspire to soon enter the world of competitive sports! So please watch this space as we work to prove our breed stock and provide sport-titled lines.
PROGRAM GOALS
We aim to advance the breed toward AKC recognition and conformation with standard, and so will soon be adding greater genetic diversity -- please watch this space if you are looking to find F2x or F3x puppies.
